The Science of Taste

I read an interesting book review recently at Homeschool-Articles.com. The book being reviewed is "The End of Overeating" by David Kessler, MD. He gets down to the science behind how restraurants prepare their foods to make them so melt-in-your-mouth yummy, and explains why we just can't stop with a couple of tortillia chips, as well as the physiology that makes it impossible to just have a couple of different items at a buffet.
The review is extremely informative in itself (it would be great reading for the kids - especially older ones - but does make me want to read the book!
The review was written by Joanna Dolgoff MD, a pediatrician who specializes in child and adolescent weight management. She is the creator of Dr. Dolgoff’s Weigh.
