How do you know what the topic is going to be? I put in on a carnival and found out (after it was posted) that there was a specific subject matter.
Thank you,
Janet

Hey, Janet!
I've never hosted a carnival, but I think it's up to the host to think up the theme and then arrange all of the entries in a clever way so as to go along with the particular theme. A couple of times - at least since I've known about the COH - someone has let it be known what the theme will be before the carnival, but all of the posts were on different topics.
Take a look back at some of the past carnivals (you can do this on my blog, or Whyhomeschool's blog, by using the search function)and read down the lists and look at the themes. It takes quite a creative mind to weave all those things in to one set theme. Something for everyone. Kind of like a real carnival!
